Plagiarism Policy

IJAMRET follows a strict plagiarism prevention policy to protect academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, properly cited and free from unethical publication practices.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the use of another person’s words, ideas, data, images, tables, research findings or intellectual property without proper acknowledgement. It also includes duplicate publication, self-plagiarism and improper paraphrasing.

Types of Plagiarism

• Direct copying of text without citation.
• Paraphrasing someone else’s work without acknowledgement.
• Self-plagiarism or duplicate publication.
• Use of figures, tables or images without permission.
• Fabrication or manipulation of research data.
• Improper or incomplete referencing.

Similarity Screening

Submitted manuscripts may be checked using plagiarism-detection tools before peer review. The editorial team may also conduct manual verification where required. Manuscripts with high similarity or suspicious content may be returned, rejected or investigated.

Acceptable Similarity Level

• 0–10%: Generally acceptable, subject to editorial review.
• 11–20%: Revision or clarification may be required.
• Above 20%: Editorial investigation and possible rejection.

Author Responsibilities

• Submit only original and unpublished work.
• Properly cite all sources, ideas, data and quotations.
• Obtain permission for copyrighted material.
• Declare any previous use or related publication.
• Ensure that all co-authors approve the final manuscript.

Consequences of Plagiarism

Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism may be rejected without peer review. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, IJAMRET may issue a correction, expression of concern, withdrawal or retraction depending on the severity of the case.

IJAMRET permits responsible use of Artificial Intelligence tools for limited writing support such as grammar correction, language improvement, translation assistance and formatting. However, AI tools must not replace genuine research contribution, author accountability or academic originality.

Permitted AI Use

• Grammar correction and language improvement.
• Formatting support and readability improvement.
• Translation assistance where verified by authors.
• Technical editing under author supervision.

Restricted AI Use

• Generating complete manuscripts or major sections without author contribution.
• Creating fabricated references, citations or bibliographic details.
• Producing fake research data, tables, figures or results.
• Generating scientific claims without verification.
• Submitting AI-generated content without disclosure.

AI Disclosure Requirement

Authors must disclose significant use of AI tools during manuscript preparation. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, references, data integrity and conclusions of the submitted work.

Example disclosure: “The authors used AI-assisted tools only for language editing and grammar improvement. All scientific content, analysis, interpretation and conclusions were prepared and verified by the authors.”

Editorial Action

Manuscripts containing excessive, misleading or undisclosed AI-generated content may be rejected. IJAMRET reserves the right to request clarification from authors and investigate suspected misuse of AI tools.
